The Knanaya Association discussed the necessity of an official Publication for Knanaya Samudayam and decided to publish a Magazine. Cosequently an application was submitted to the concerned Government department, got the permission to start Knanaya Deepam Magazine and V.Rev. P.M. Mathew Corepiscopa Pulikavil was given charge as Chief Editor of this publication. Thanks to his efforts the first copy of Knanaya Deepam Magazine was launched on May 5th 1989 in the Annual General meeting of Knanaya Congress at Thurithikadu. V.Rev. P.M. Mathew Corepiscopa Pulikavil was the Chief Editor of Knanaya Deepam till his death (1989-2002).

Fr. C.T. Jacob Chettiakulathu (Printer &Publisher), Fr. K.T. Mathews Alencherril, Shri Abraham Mathews, Shri E.T. Lukose, Shri C.A. George and Shri T. O. Elias were members of the Editorial Board at that time. The first two volume of Knanaya Deepam had only eighteen pages each and was only as small as a small text book. From the third volume the Magazine came out in the normal size of a Magazine.

During the time of Rev. Fr. C.K. Mathews Cherumadakala as Managing Editor (1989-1991) Knanaya Samudayam could own a Treadle Press and started working in the name Knanaya Printers. From the 8th volume Knanaya Deepam Magazine was printed in this press. We used a small House at the East side of St. John's Dayara Pally to function as the office and press. Fr.Kuriakose Edavazhikal (Mor Severios Valiya Metropolitan) took charge as Managing Editor (1991-1994) and during this time the Magazine gained more publicity and Types and Spares as necessary for the Press were bought. During the time of Shri C.A. Scariah Kutty Puthiamadam as Managing Editor (1994-2002) a Cylinder Press was bought for Knanaya Printers. In January 2000 we bought a Mini Offset Press, established “Clemis Press” in Clemis Centre building and started printing Knanaya Deepam in this press.

Shri E.P. Pothen Elapunkal (2002-2005),Shri M.M. Elias Madukkamootil (2005-2009), Adv. Tino K. Thomas Kondoor(2009-2012), Fr. Bino Philip Moozhiparambil(2013) also rendered services as Managing Editors. Presently Fr. Jinu Kuruvilla Kizhakemuttathil is the Managing Editor(2014)

After the death of V. Rev. P.M. Mathew Pulikavil Corepiscopa, V.Rev. C.K. Mathews Corepiscopa Cherumadakala (2002-2003), Fr. V.A. Abraham Elayasseril (2003-2005)and Fr. Dr. A.T. Abraham Alummootil (2009-2012) worked as Chief Editors. Presently Fr. Prof. K.O. Joseph Kulathramannil is the Chief Editor(2012-)

Fr. C.T. Jacob Chettiakulathu who was Printer & Publisher resigned in 1995 and after that Fr. John Mathew Moolamkulam (1995-2005), Fr. Jacobkutty Kallukulam(2005-2009), Fr. Binoj Kuriakose Thundiyil (2009-2012) and Fr. Bino Philip Moozhiparambil (2012-2013) worked as Printer & Publisher. At present the Managing Editor Rev. Fr. Jinu Kuruvilla Kizhakemuttathil (From 2013) is working as Printer & Publisher as well.

Editorial Board members in (2013-2015); Chief Editor Fr. Prof.K.O. Joseph Kulathramannil, Managing Editor Fr. Jinu Kuruvilla Kizhakemuttathil, Members: S/Shri O.T. Jacob Othara, Manoj Mathew Palakudiyil, Joby Joseph Karikkodu, P.C. Abraham Plamthottam and Reji Mathew Kattayil. During their period, the initial steps to launch an official website for Knanaya Deepam occurred.

The present Editorial Board members are; Chief Editor V. Rev. Roy Mathew, Mulamoottil, Managing Editor Fr. John Mathew, Moolamkulam, Members: Shri Abraham Kallissery, Abraham K Mathew Kdaithara, K. T. Abraham Kariyil, Jose A. T. Amakkattu and Jinto K. Abraham Uthinilkunnathil (Minerva). Ascertaining the growing needs of our modern society, the present committee made a consensus to launch a new mobile application (Android/ iOS) to deploy the latest updates to our believers. Updating of the current website was also put forward.
